ScopeGoat policies
Terms of Use
ScopeGoat provides project qualification, estimating, and walkthrough tools for builders and homeowners. Its ranges help start a project conversation. Construction services and walkthrough appointments are provided by the selected builder under that builder’s own terms.
Product and support questions: cuatro@westexconstruction.com.
The builder pilot
ScopeGoat is currently free during the builder pilot, with no card required to join. Joining does not start a paid subscription or authorize an automatic charge. Future subscription pricing and changes to pilot access will be communicated before a paid offer.
The pilot is a developing service. Features, availability, and workflows may change. The pilot does not include a service-level agreement, guaranteed uptime, guaranteed response times, guaranteed leads, or a promise of ongoing free access. Keep copies of project information you need for your business records.
Accounts and workspace access
Use accurate account and organization details and sign in with your own email and password. Keep credentials and private project links secure. Only invite people authorized to access your company’s workspace, and remove their access when it is no longer needed.
You can create an account and set up a workspace immediately. Email ownership must be verified before publishing a public estimator. Verification and email delivery depend on the configured account and email services.
Ranges are planning guidance
Budget ranges are preliminary estimates based on entered information and the builder’s published pricing assumptions, including percentages and minimums. They are not bids, fixed prices, offers to perform work, contracts, property valuations, or guarantees that a project can be completed within the displayed amount.
Actual pricing depends on confirmed scope, measurements, selections, site conditions, permits, and other project requirements. Homeowners should review assumptions with the builder and obtain an appropriate written proposal before committing to construction work. A budget fit result does not guarantee that the builder will accept the project.
Builder responsibilities
Builders are responsible for checking and approving their percentages, minimums, project descriptions, fees, contact details, and other published settings. Starter settings and sample data must be reviewed for the builder’s market and business before publication.
Builders are also responsible for reviewing client-facing options, responding to inquiries, managing team access, using homeowner information appropriately, and meeting requirements applicable to their services. ScopeGoat does not independently validate a builder’s qualifications, availability, or construction pricing.
Walkthroughs, fees, and appointments
A walkthrough fee is separate from using ScopeGoat or joining the builder pilot. Each builder chooses its fee and appointment terms. A $250 WES-TEX walkthrough is one builder’s configured offering; other builders may set a different amount or choose another next step.
Before booking, homeowners should review the displayed fee, what the appointment includes, and the builder’s cancellation, rescheduling, credit, and refund terms. ScopeGoat does not make a universal refund or fee-credit promise. Calendar and payment providers apply their own terms to their services.
Opening a booking page, submitting an inquiry, or seeing a payment in progress does not establish a confirmed paid appointment. Rely on the booking provider’s confirmation and the builder’s instructions. Contact the selected builder about scheduling, services, cancellations, or payment disputes.
Connections and communications
JobTread, email delivery, scheduling, and payments require appropriate provider accounts and configuration. These providers may change, be unavailable, or impose their own charges and terms. Public Range Finder requests remain in ScopeGoat Leads and do not automatically sync to JobTread.
Review recipients and content before sharing client information or sending an email. A queued message or provider acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery. Review the Privacy Policy for how information moves through the selected builder and connected providers.
Appropriate use
Use ScopeGoat only for work you are authorized to perform. Do not attempt to access another workspace, misuse personal information, upload unlawful content, impersonate another person or business, or interfere with the service. Access may be restricted to address misuse, security concerns, or the operation of the pilot.
Provide project information you are entitled to share and avoid including sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the project.
Questions and updates
The version and effective date on this page identify these terms. Updated terms may be published as the service develops. Contact ScopeGoat if you have a question about the pilot or need help with account access or records.
